PAB Abortion Support Hotline 205-386-0046

Why I'm starting this blog.

1.  Prolifers are bullies
2.  The Prolife movement is endangering the lives of many women.
3.  The Prolife movement if not fought against could have repercussions which affect many areas of reproductive  healthcare other than abortion.
4.  The Prolife movement is and will continue to provide false information concerning scientific topics especially   biology.
5.  I'm sick of people believing that bullying in the name of god is not bullying.
6. I know many pro-choice people but very few willing to escort or publicly admit their position.
7.  The reason for their trepidation Prolifers are bullies.
8.  I've been told if you stand up to a bully they will back down.
9. Most of my friends agree with me and don't need to be sold on choice so a blog may allow me to reach some on the other side.
10.  I believe my experiences as an escort and women's right advocated are important and should be shared.  I hope women will support each other and I hope my blog may benefit women who feel they have no support in their choice.

  5. I think that, Susan G. Komen claiming that politics had nothing to do with their decision to pull funding from PP is crap. Of course it was political. The Komen foundation has a long history of political actions, this is just one more of them.

I've never really been a big supporter of Komen or many other charities for that matter. I give to a few which I know are run well and money donated goes to the cause that is claimed. The charities I donate to are generally rather small and run by a few dedicated individuals. More than once I have donated only to find out that my money as well as the money of other well-meaning people has been spent irresponsibly. Komen like many other charities seems to spend a lot of donations on items that are extravagant and not essential to getting their message out. When I was in college a couple of years ago Komen was advertising their local race event. The were handing out all types of memorabilia and had something like a tour bus equipped with laptops where you watched a video about Komen. The headphones we were all given were top notch along with the lap tops. I've had the same result (getting information) with a notebook and paper for charity organizations. I don't think when people donate to Komen top of the line headphones are what they have in mind. Komen may have been at one time about fighting breast cancer, but those days are long gone. Pulling from PP is more evidence that women aren't their concern.

The falsehoods which have been removed are medically inaccurate information about abortion. It is information that is typically on every pro-life website and pamphlet. I know that many pro-lifers believe the information is true, but that is just not the case.
